Happy friday fish fans! It has been a bit windy here in Islamorada the past week, but that hasn't kept me stuck at the dock! Florida Keys Backcountry Fishing
Over the last 4 days I've been crushing the snook and redfish! Not only that, but the trout are really starting to pack on their spring time weight as well. I haven't been catching huge numbers of trout, but the ones coming boat-side have been lunkers! This would be the perfect time of year to bring the family down to Islamorada and get on constant action. One day we must've caught 40 snook and over 100 redfish! Fishing through the Holidays
Happy Holidays fishy people! I hope everyone enjoyed a serving or 10 of tasty food and post-season football! While life up north is consumed with a harsh winter of shoveling snow and defrosting car windows, the Florida Keys has been nothing but blue skies and fair weather in the backcountry the last several weeks. Most days I've been spending my time fishing for Spanish Mackerel, Snappers, Cobias, Sharks, and Goliath Groupers. This is a unique fishery we have during this time
